Climate Change Over Decades

The major impact of environmental change are a worldwide temperature change, ozone layer depletion, a rise in sea levels, liquefying of glaciers and destruction of territories for some living organisms and reason for many diseases. As by recent studies the melting of glaciers is leading to the extinction of animals. The ozone layer depletion is bringing about numerous skins and breathing diseases.

Globally, power generation is in charge of around 23 billion tons of carbon emissions every year which is a direct reason for global warming. The intensity of summer and winter seasons have turned out to be more intense and exceptional than past. The recurrence of floods has additionally expanded. The patterns of rain are disturbed by environmental change. Now, the quantity of rains per season is likewise decreasing because of the cutting of forests and numerous other environmental factors.

The climate change is also responsible of soil and water disintegration which directly affects agriculture. The greatest impact of environmental change is a global warming, increase in earth's temperature, which is the major cause of intense dry season conditions. The accessibility of water for domestic and farming uses is severely affected by it. According to Intergovernmental Panel for Climate Change (IPCC) temperature of the earth may rise 1.4 to 5.8 Celsius before the end of this century. Air pollution, as of now a silent killer, is set to turn out to be more terrible under climate change.

Almost all of the reasons for climate change are because of human activities. People are cutting down trees, consuming petroleum products at a disturbing rate, utilizing a ton of fertilizers and expanding amount of ozone depleting substances in the environment. Because of these anthropogenic activities the ozone is also draining.
